For Project 4, I decided to document my experiences in Myrtle Beach, SC, during spring break. The NSU T&F team goes on a spring break trip every year to compete in an outdoor meet, so this trip revolved mainly around the things I experienced in SC. Through my digital camera, you will see three notable events: the Myrtle Beach Track Meet, the sunrise, and the photoshoot. Through my film photography, you will see some of the moments in between. Thankfully, I didn’t have any issues with this project. I was happy to finally do some outdoor photography since so much of it has been indoors the last couple of months. It was very refreshing and made my editing process much easier. I have always been known to photograph the things that I love. The photos you see in this project prove it. My goal as a photographer is to capture the things that I love in a technically accurate and aesthetically pleasing way. I do not just photograph to photograph. I photograph to tell a story and to share that story with others. This project is a great example of that.
